Do flowers have any special meanings in your country?When did you last send flowers?

Country Singapore (about the same with other western country)


Chrysanthemum: You are a wonderful friend


Chrysanthemum, Red: I love you


Chrysanthemum, White: Truth


Chrysanthemum, Yellow: Slighted Love (but we Chinese use white and yellow for funeral; yellow and other colour for offering to god or decoration happiness, good luck, and long life we normally don't send people Chrysanthemum)


Lotus : offering to Buddha enlightenment and purity


Peony : healing(Chinese means prosperity)


Gladiolus : use for decoration during chinese new year means smooth upgrading(like promotion in school and work) but don't bring to visit people at hospital for chinese we called it Jian Lan sounds like Jian Nan means hard to see him or her again.
